[ARCHIVED] Hawaiian Bros and Crisp & Green Proposed for Weber & Normantown Intersection

Three Tenant Building

The southeast corner at the intersection of Weber Road and Normantown Road could soon be home to a newly constructed three tenant building. Recently presented to the Romeoville Planning & Zoning Committee, the 8,603 square foot building would have a drive thu and two restaurants: Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and CRISP & GREEN. A third tenant space remains open.

Hawaiian Bros serves up island inspired food with their specialty being the plate lunch: rice, macaroni salad, and a choice of protein like Molokai chicken, luau pig, and other options. This growing national brand has locations in 13 states, including three stores in Illinois.

CRISP & GREEN has over 200 locations and prepares salads, grain bowls, wraps, smoothies, and acai bowls.

“This intersection has become a very desirable place to open up shop,” said Mayor Noak. “Between QuikTrip, Hatch Chicken, Hawaiian Bros, and CRISP & GREEN, with interest from new businesses such as these, we continue to see significant activity in this area.”

The project would see the former 7-11 building demolished and this building erected in its place. If approved, construction could start this coming spring.
