The Fit 4 Life Fitness Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Recreation Center. This 3,000 square foot fitness center has state of the art equipment, locker rooms and a beautiful aerial view of Romeoville’s Village Park. You will enjoy getting in shape with our convenient hours, quality service and affordable rates!

FITNESS PASS MEMBERSHIP FEES

The Fit 4 Life Fitness Center provides multiple affordable membership options to accommodate it's patrons. Each membership provides access to the fitness center, group fitness classes, and open gym.

We also offer EFT Memberships to make things easy and convenient for you. To apply for an EFT Membership please visit us at the Romeoville Recreation Center and designate a form of payment. Membership fees will automatically be withdrawn from your account on the same day each month. EFT Memberships are ongoing unless cancelled (fee is applied when canceling within the first 24 months).

CARDIO & RESISTANCE TRAINING

Alternate intervals of easy-to-follow cardio drills with strength training for this full body workout. A variety of equipment is used for an efficient workout. You will increase dynamic and functional strength of core, upper, and lower extremities while burning tons of fat and sugar and increasing your resting metabolism for 24 hours!

FITNESS BOOT CAMP

This military-inspired workout with cardiovascular exercises and strengthening elements includes positive coaching and motivation from the instructor. You can expect core training and flexibility and no intimidation tactics. This class to take your game to the next level and separate themselves from the rest.

GET FIT*

Get moving for 30 minutes of aerobic exercise followed by core work which includes abs, butt, and back. Finish off the class with a cool down and full-body stretch.

*Polish speaking participants are welcome.

KICKBOXING & CARDIO

Get a great cardio workout using kickboxing moves in choreographed combinations and routines to reinforce proper technique. Gloves, heavy bags, weights and other equipment will used in this high energy class.

METABOLIC EFFECT WORKOUT

Metabolic effect training is a unique type of exercising using joint movement and full body exercises to burn calories and increase your metabolism for hours after the workout is done. Enhance your body functions and increase fitness efficiency.

POWER BLAST

This class improves strength, stability, flexibility, and boosts your metabolism to help burn fat. You will learn proper form and technique to get the full benefit of effectively improving your fitness.

PILATES, STRETCH, & MEDITATION

In this class, we will do floor Mat Pilates to strengthen, tone, and build the core. We will stretch throughout the class to work on flexibility and elongate the muscles that we worked. At the end of the class we will focus on meditating to relax our mind and body. Please join for this mind/body experience.

SENIOR STRONG

This class will consist of building strength and stability as well as working on balance and posture. Help make daily activities easier by training with light weights, bender ball, and a chair. We will do a short cardio section, strength and balance exercises, and end with stretching. All are welcome as modifications are easily applied.

STRENGTH & CORE

It is never too late to start focusing on building bone, muscle, and core strength! During this class we will utilize equipment such as weights, bar, bosu, medicine ball, stability balls, and more.

STRENGTH, TONE, CORE & MORE

This class uses fitness equipment to improve strength, stability, flexibility, and boosts your metabolism to help burn fat. You will learn proper form and technique to get the full benefit of effectively improving your fitness level.

STRENGTH/CARDIO BLAST

Get ready to build strength stability and burn fat calories in this unique interval training class. We will be using weights, bosu, body bar, large stability ball, and urban rebounder (little trampoline) for a Cardio Blast!

TABATA

Improve your cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, and flexibility with 20 seconds of ultra-intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated continuously for 4 minutes (8 cycles). These short, intense workouts improve athletic capacity and condition, glucose metabolism, and fat burning.

TRX® GROUP STRENGTH

Learn to train the entire body with a variety of exercises in this small group setting. Class will include the fitness center equipment and the TRX® training System.

YOGA

Improve flexibility, balance and strength while reducing stress and lowering blood pressure. Morning yoga is great for loosening up the muscles and joints, and sharpening mental focus.

ZUMBA®

Join the party! Zumba® is a fun, cardio workout with easy-to-follow dance steps inspired by Latin rhythms, featuring south-of-the-border moves that are spicy hot! Dancer or not, burn calories, work up a sweat, and have a great time doing it!

ZUMBA® TONING

Those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! The challenge of adding resistance by using light weights, helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

PERSONAL TRAINING PACKAGES

At Fit 4 Life you’ll get personal training to meet your specific needs. Whether you need to tone your quadriceps or need that first step to physical fitness, our certified personal trainers will help you achieve your goals. Both beginners and fitness gurus will benefit from the motivation, guidance and proper instruction to insure a safe and efficient workout. Personal training includes a fitness assessment prior to training by appointment with the fitness center staff, as well as goal setting with your personal trainer.
